“My dream is to create beautiful clothes that make women feel great about themselves. As Annie sang, “You’re never fully dressed without a smile”! If every woman that puts on my clothes can look in the mirror and smile, I will consider myself successful.”

What is your business/work or personal philosophy?

“Things can always be worse and everything happens for a reason.”

What makes you feel like a powerful woman?

“To have the support of other women, makes me feel like I can accomplish anything. #strenghtinnumbers #positivevibes #womensupportingwomen”

Who are your top badass female role models?

“My best friend Liza. She is a mom of three and is pursuing her dream of becoming a writer. She is so talented, driven and a very positive person! Yansi Fugel- She has been such an inspiration to me. She is strong, supportive and has created such a beautiful line of tuxedos for women. I have never met someone who really wants to see other women succeed too. Definitely someone to look up to. Christina Stembel- Founder & CEO of Farmgirl Flowers is another true inspiration and such a supporter of women in the work force. She joined the F Project, which I hope to be a part of one day. There is nothing better than women supporting women. #buildeachotherup”

What is your favorite tux couture piece and why? 

“The Illana jacket. I LOVE a great blazer. You can always dress them up or down. Plus, you really can wear just about anything underneath them.”

How has Tux Couture helped you overcome issues within your closet?

“Yansi, has mastered the art of being able to make a beautiful tux for just about any occasion and you leave your house looking and feeling your best in no time at all. Love the ease and stress free feeling of having to get ready.”
